This virtual fundraising initiative, hosted by the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH, aims to support local nonprofits, including PHN Charitable Foundation, that are tirelessly working to make a positive impact in our communities. The event runs from June 22nd to 28th, and every donation is matched, doubling the impact of your generosity.

Reach Out and Read:
Reach Out and Read is a national nonprofit that integrates literacy into pediatric care. At each wellness visit from 6 months to five years, pediatric patients receive a book to take home. Since the inception of this program, we have distributed 4,000 books. This initiative promotes early childhood literacy and fosters a love for reading from a young age.
Little Free Library:
The Little Free Library initiative offers an assortment of books accessible to the community for free, 24/7, similar to a formal library. To date, we have distributed over 3,000 books throughout Primary Health Network’s Western PA counties. This program ensures that everyone has access to books, promoting lifelong learning and literacy.
