Summer is in full swing, and with it fresh comes summer produce! Farmer’s markets are starting soon, offering local fruits and vegetables to add in to your diet this season. Here is just a sample of what’s in season right now:• Strawberries• Blueberries• Blackberries• Raspberries• Tomatoes• Peas• Eggplant• Sweet cornMake a trip to your local farmer’s market and try this summer berry parfait recipe for a healthy breakfast or dessert!Summer Berry Parfait¾ cup sliced strawberries¾ cup blueberries¾ cup blackberries1 6-oz. container vanilla yogurt½ cup granola or plain rolled oatsLayer ¼ cup of strawberries, ¼ cup of blueberries, ¼ cup of raspberries, 1/3 of the yogurt, and 3 tablespoons of granola in a large cereal bowl. Repeat layers until all of the ingredients are used. Enjoy!
