Ensuring Women’s Health: Maternal Self-Measured Blood Pressure Program Now Available!

For women of childbearing age, health is paramount, especially after welcoming a new addition to the family. At Primary Health Network, we recognize the significance of postpartum health, which is why we’re excited to extend an exclusive opportunity to qualifying patients.

The Opportunity

Have you given birth within the past two years? Did you experience high blood pressure during your pregnancy, or do you currently have high blood pressure? Perhaps you faced complications such as pre-eclampsia or eclampsia during your pregnancy. If any of these scenarios resonate, we invite you to participate in our innovative program.

Our new initiative empowers participants to monitor their blood pressure conveniently from the comfort of home. Through this program, participants can track blood pressure levels and report the results directly to their Primary Health Network provider. The program spans just a few months, and the blood pressure monitoring device provided is theirs to keep.

The statistics are staggering. According to the CDC, high blood pressure affects approximately 1 in every 12 to 17 pregnancies among women aged 20 to 44 in the United States. While hypertension during pregnancy typically resolves after delivery, studies indicate an elevated risk of developing chronic hypertension in the future.
