You helped make the 2025 “Swinging Fore Literacy” Golf Outing our most successful yet, with 164 registered golfers and over $62,000 raised to support our literacy initiatives!
Thanks to your generosity, we’re continuing to expand our Little Free Library program, bringing more books to neighborhoods across our community, and growing our Reach Out & Read program to additional pediatric sites. Even more exciting, your support is helping us expand our Caring for Our Neighbors program with new initiatives that support PHN employees’ education and provide direct assistance to patients and families.

The 2025 Swinging Fore Literacy event brought together beautiful weather, spirited competition, and a powerful sense of community purpose. It was more than just a day of golf. It was a celebration of our shared commitment to supporting childhood literacy and helping create brighter futures for the children we serve.
A special thank you to our 20-Year Platinum Anniversary Sponsor, Sharon American Legion Post 299. Their generous support allowed us to provide every golfer with a pair of golf shoes, a memorable gift to mark this milestone event!
This year’s event held special meaning, as it coincided with our 20-year anniversary celebration. Over the past two decades, your continued commitment has helped us grow our impact and further our mission. We are proud to share some highlights from 2005 through 2025:

- Fundraising Revenue Generated: $1,502,753.23 through more than 150 events
- Total Donations Received: $415,213.84
- Scholarships and EITC Distributed: $686,987.21 (221 scholarships awarded)
- Books Distributed through Reach Out and Read: Over 3,300
- Little Free Library Program: More than 15,000 books collected and over 13,000 distributed
